Mentor Law Group’s natural resources practice focuses on issues relating to water law, Indian law, land use, and fish and wildlife. Our clients are large and small businesses, tribes, non-profits, public entities and private individuals. Our goal is to anticipate issues that are likely to impact our clients and develop innovative solutions, through transactional, litigation or settlement representation.

Under the supervision of an attorney, the summer law clerk’s primary responsibilities are to perform legal and factual research, and to develop case strategy and legal theories. The summer clerk may also have the opportunity to assist attorneys with preparing briefs and motions, to meet with clients, and work on specially assigned projects.

To Apply:

Law students who have at least ten weeks to commit in the summer are eligible.

  • Recent writing sample (preferably a legal brief or memorandum, 15 page maximum)
  • Unofficial transcript
  • List of three references
